Americans must stop attempting to play and win with the "house" (oligarch) money supply. Rather demand America works for all our people. Wealth inequality makes it far too late for a simple minimum-wage in currency to provide for our needs.
Even a $30 per hour wage is just a number which may or may not be enough to survive upon, depending upon individual, economic, and life circumstances. How does it feel to you when you see profoundly disabled people suffering on the streets? What do they deserve, as Americans? Death or life?
Torture or peace? A home, or slow death by cruel exposure to the elements?
The proletariat will always lose the, "How much money is enough?" game. No matter the "minimum," graciously granted by our begging the wealthy-beyond-comprehension men in power for mercy, it won't be enough in the long run. Instead the people must claim fair and equitable shares of America's national wealth, not simply for personal enrichment, but for our very survival. Predatory capitalism brought the American Empire to its knees.
We won't survive a transition to AI-driven cannibalistic capitalism of the global gig economy corporate cabal. The pandemic proved that vulnerable people, and indeed anyone can die of neglect in America, where necropolitics calculates proletariat death as a desirable outcome.
Is that an America and world we can accept, under any circumstances? Do we want to step over bodies in our streets, only because certain people simply must have everything and ever more, while the masses fester and suffer in abject misery? It can't be that way. So it must not.

Knowing our history, how can anyone support using money and owning private property?
These two, so-called rights give Capitalists (wealthy investors) the ability to provide a service: lending.
Give Countries (government leaders) a way to make money: printing and taxing.
Give Companies (business owners) greater leverage through profits: buying and selling.
Give Workers (poor and middle class families) a permanent place in society: keeping Capitalism, Nationalism, Consumerism, and Wageism alive.
Any global system offering endless opportunities for poverty, war, corruption, and pollution to exist is destined to ruin our planet therefore risk our chances of survival. Truth be known, fair laws, humane policies, and safe practices are the better solution. Scientific Socialism promises universal protection “for all by all” by granting everyone equal access to health and balance everywhere.
