Book - Chapter Four: Will Corporate AI Kill Us?
Full Dashclosure, Awakening from the human exploitation of DoorDash Singularity
Do you own technology, or does it own you through biasing and directing your mental states, perceptions, and tasks?
"Social Listening - We Hear All" ~Meltwater
Comforting, isn't it? Everyone deserves to be heard! Social Listening provides the data needed to deepen our singularity by digitizing what you buy, do, select, search, and communicate. It's a powerful system, which can and will be used against you by corporations, innovators, and organized financial crime syndicates around the world. “Our suite of products aims to solve the problems faced by modern PR, communications, and marketing professionals.”
The ChatBot search engine wars are about influencing, owning, and marketing the search data and the RESULTS of the searches, not the specific AI system or ChatBot that's used in the process. Follow the money.
If you have any doubts about how much is known about human behaviors and preferences today, register with Meltwater to download all 465 pages of the Digital 2023 Global Overview Report. It will blow your mind; AND make you think about smashing your smartphone with a sledge hammer. What if we gave it all up, in part, or in total?

If Tech Corporations, Kroger, Facebook, Google, our U.S. Government, or anyone with money to buy the data, wants to know virtually anything or everything about you, your behaviors, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY your preferences, they can use a few of your demographics to generate a broad profile of you with great precision.
Yet, here I am in this present moment, February 23, 2023, at 10:14 am, communicating with you via Substack, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Apple Podcasts, LinkedIn, Beehiiv, TikTok, YouTube, and countless other sources. They know, and they know you know they know; and they don’t care.
Autonomy Is An Illusion
The gig economy was invented to destroy the last vestiges of workers rights, and our civil and human rights right along with them. This is no conspiracy theory and no hyperbole. The present moment is the time to be awakened to what is happening to society, via the free-riding horror of self-styled, "technology companies," running human appslaves as game world widgets, while the humans believe they're in organic markets or at least operating in some world they can comprehend and in which their "choices," matter. They're tragically incorrect.
The Gig Economy would be a total betrayal of our trust, but only if we ever trusted global corporations. The appslavery cartel is funded by a list of the usual suspects, including DoorDash, Uber, Lyft, various billionaires and the ever-present financing demon of SoftBank, with their ample operations in China, and Saudi Arabian money. Global corporations, particularly the gig economy featuring global corporate giants DoorDash and Uber, are at the leading edge of data science-designed and AI-driven appslavery schemes.
Alleged "independent contractors," LACKING INFORMED CONSENT, labor in a deceptive game world simulation. They're pushed into singularity, as they're locked to a gigapp smartphone interface and isolated from reality. Humans are fooled, or choose to be tricked, into believing in black box AI output. It's absurd as soon as you step out of the game, because nothing about the game is fair from an objective assessment. It's a naked corporate scheme that preys on human desperation for survival, and thus income.
Believe in the veracity of black box AI output from gig economy corporate systems with 100% certainty. It’s a certainty that the output is designed to exploit humans, markets, and merchants to the greatest extent possible through efforts of the world's most sophisticated engineering teams.
There's no human frailty or bias that corporate systems don’t exploit, and their goal is to exploit it 1% better every day. It’s a statistical reality that human activity is represented only as AN EXPENSE TO BE MINIMIZED. DoorDash wants the yield from myriad human activities in which their technology directs a market simulation, without ever employing operational labor, or investing capital. No matter what your worst nightmare about how a single human being, interfacing with DoorDash's world via app-based isolation, could be physically, mentally, psychologically, metaphysically, and deceptively exploited, be assured they’re working on it with rigid testing and analysis, both automated and directed.
That's why ABC TV Shark Tank “guest shark,” CEO Tony Xu is vague, smug, and quiet. DoorDash is winning every day by attaching their AI technology to diverse world markets, and all they have to do is keep their heads down. They know governments don’t want to stop them during a time of economic turmoil. They won their gigapp version of the Megabucks Lottery with the pandemic market disruption, and so the future was designed. Winning is winning! DoorDash doesn't need popularity.
DoorDash has 65% of Monthly Sales in, “indexed U.S. Sales,” as reported with the Fourth Quarter 2022 Financial Results. They want the global market monopolization and a percentage of all global appslave activity-generated transactions. That's the goal and the path and they don't really hide it. They just don't talk about the implications of the parasitic societal-nuke they're perfecting.
Famous short seller and American Investment Manager Jim Chanos spoke recently about DoorDash, stating "Take a look at the gig economy of companies. Look at DoorDash. DoorDash's losses per order are actually going up after ten years; TEN YEARS! And they didn't make money during the pandemic, when we were all ordering meals in and getting checks from the government. So, maybe that's a business model problem, not a valuation issue. And if it's a business model problem, then you have a really interesting long-term short."
To watch the 26-second Jim Chanos video clip on YouTube, <CLICK HERE> or on his picture above.
Do you believe the never-profitable last-mile-delivery market is REALLY that exciting? Chanos correctly stated that, “DoorDash's losses per order are actually going up after ten years,” but it’s NOT in any way, “a business model problem.” DoorDash is investing heavily in appcolonization. It’s a big investment on the biggest market. You're already the non-consenting victim of human exploitation, and if humanity has a history in someone's future, they'll look back to our 2023, when HUMANITY SHRUGGED at the dawning of the gig economy and DoorDash Singularity.
Koko Did What?!
Koko, advertises, “Making mental health accessible to everyone.” I don’t want to be cynical or pedantic, but did Koko leave, “care,” out of the word “healthcare,” on the website landing page statement on purpose: as plausible deniability? I can hear their future spokesperson claiming, “Koko said you’d have mental health, not mental healthcare. There’s a big difference. You misinterpreted us.” Before judging me, see below for the story of how they already betrayed humanity for their purposes. Even if they claim their purposes are for good, society must decry such incursions without informed consent as wholly unacceptable.
"A mental health tech company ran an AI experiment on real users. Nothing’s stopping apps from conducting more. When people log in to Koko, an online emotional support chat service based in SF, CA, they expect to swap messages with an anonymous volunteer."
There's long been an assumption that technical development moves us forward as a species to new eras and heights, “where no man has gone before,” as the TV show, “Star Trek,” tantalizingly dramatized. That's clearly not the case with AI, as it's not replacing dangerous or physical work, it's substituting for US - our human consciousness - the witness within - our core being and perceptions.
Borders won’t protect jobs in the singularity of our new AI techno-world. Politicians aren’t really in control of a damn thing anymore, other than enriching themselves and the oligarchs. Control is illusion. What happens when, lost in AI singularity, humans no longer share a common perceived world, common reality narratives, or common pro-human goals? Does technology-driven productivity WIN by virtue of its invention and innovation, or will humanity reserve TIME for our descendants to experience consciousness?

Artificial Intelligence vs. Humanity
Corporations know how to manipulate you by continuing decades of pervasive propaganda through advertising and marketing, paid media content, market monopolization schemes, technology gamification, political influence and lobbying, and in virtually any interaction with modern technology.
Data Science and corporate AI have changed what humans are to each other, and in relation to power and wealth.
The customer is now a product
Usability transformed into exploitation
Innovation is anti-human monetization
Customer research is now a data lake
Job creators became employment takers
Games and gambling are income
Chatbots are designed to trigger anthropomorphism. Except for a few neuro-divergent types, our brains are wired to perceive these bots as people. With the right stimulus, we’re like the little boy who’s certain his teddy bear gets lonesome, or that the shadows have eyes. Tech companies are well aware of this and use it to their advantage. ~Joe Allen, Singularity Weekly
THE POINT: We're vulnerable to business and AI systems that know us better than we know ourselves. With precise predictions AI knows how to trigger our emotions, keep our attention, and influence our choices and behaviors. Do you own technology, or does it own you, through biasing and directing your tasks, thoughts, and emotions? The stakes are raised now. AI hires, prioritizes, tasks humans with work, tests and rewards, searches, suggests, and terminates. AI generates convincing information outputs, but it's not human.
AI Is Anything But Godlike
The more I learn about artificial intelligence, the more apparent it becomes that AI is ANYTHING BUT godlike. What we refer to as "AI," is the computationally derived, and poorly simulated output of black box AI systems which "work," yet we don't know how, and we can't know how. They're not, however, approaching humanity or our human condition.
The common AI parlor tricks (albeit incredibly good ones) use our languages, databases, our sounds, our vocalizations, even audio-visual likenesses and simulations with talking heads, but never with brains. One day such traits may plug into robots in human-like forms. AI robots may be able to exploit humans and humanity. They nevertheless, in the non-flesh, will still be non-humans.
Only because we HUMANS perceive simulations with imperfect information, can truly be fooled; for a while. A computer drum machine can play Neil Peart's drum music, but artificial intelligence can never be Neil Peart. Neil lived an incredible life as a member of the Canadian Band, "Rush," and died as we all will. To restate, AI can get us only if we fool each other, which is what rich and powerful humans behind corporations have always done, and plan to do much more of; to labor.
If we're unconscious in our daily lives or in our daily tasks, then we’re lost to the fundamentals of conscious thought; and one could argue that in that mind state, we're already in a great sense; dead inside. Unconsciousness is filled with far too much pain and tragedy to continue to endure forever. Want proof? See war. See poverty. See houselessness. See hungry families.
See perpetually stateless refugees and war victims. They're some of the most untenable costs of unconsciousness, on a global scale. We know war and statelessness are products of human unconsciousness (synonymous with insanity), because no sane humans could possibly do that to other humans; not even to sworn enemies. If you think we have to have wars and stateless humans because humans always have, I disagree with you. Additionally, I don't think we can persist in this manner, using technology to plot each others demise. If we do, those terrors will come for us and ours, much too soon.
We humans create and "train" AI with limited data sets including our insane and imperfect knowledge, anti-human and financially focused-motives, and all of our unshakeable historic biases; unconscious and conscious; hidden and overt.
Imagine a garrulously greedy clandestine corporate cabal coercively controlling all assets in a universally unctuous universe; an Oracle of appslaves in a literal laboratory of labor laundering lunacy, deceptively dealing dirty data deeds and artificially intelligent inhumanity.
"...if we grow accustomed to accepting AI’s answers without an explanation, essentially treating it as an Oracle system, we would not be able to tell if it begins providing wrong or manipulative answers.” ~@romanyam, from "Motherboard Tech by Vice, "Scientists Increasingly Can’t Explain How AI Works."
Should you trust corporate AI systems with anything of importance? Do you trust DoorDash as your Oracle?
Who’s Accountable?
Who's accountable regarding if and how AI controls you? YOU. The theory holds that with singularity will come the inevitability that we humans slip up with AI, and give away the farm. I don't want to see that, and I don't want it for my children. Corporate AI is created to exploit and deploy humans like a programmable robots, and it's highly effective. Predatory corporate AI, trained upon data sets expressing human biases, has already been turned loose upon humanity in criminal gig economy schemes, in addition to hiring, firing and other HR functions of traditional employment.
“Why some companies are using artificial intelligence to decide who gets laid off”
When AI competes against us in a game or market, it's not a fair match. We lose, and the theory holds that we can lose all the way. Below is the video link to a sobering and terrifying discussion about the apocalyptic potential of AI, as one person’s view of the inevitable outcome. Our extinction is predicted upon the actions of Artificial Intelligence. Viewer discretion is highly advised. You won’t like it, and I’m not going to dwell on it, but it can’t be ignored. We have work to do and politicians won’t save us from corporate AI’s tyranny and destruction. Rather those outcomes are certainties.
How many employers will turn their staff management and operations over to DoorDash AI systems? The parasitic gig economy won't stop until it destroys employment and humanity. NO TRUST should be given to any gig economy corporation, as they've delivered nothing but deception, labor laundering, appslavery, market pollution, and bad will for all human beings; labor; consumers; and merchants.
How could anyone trust a DoorDash AI system outputs to be fair to labor or run an unrigged application? The gig economy business scheme is founded upon rigged AI systems and obfuscated market simulations. Fair, organic, and fully transparent market technology is neither part of the black box AI platform design, nor the roadmap, yet they’re celebrated in local news as the platform integrates with their operations. The don’t know what they’re signing up for when they get into business with DoorDash, but they’ll find out when it’s too late; just like everyone else.
AI human labor management systems should be considered HOSTILE TO HUMANITY and LABOR, until proven safe and fair. Think of it like regulating the computer slots and games in a Las Vegas Casino. Physical odds of winning don’t exist as they do with a deck of cards or a roulette wheel. If a gaming commission didn't certify gaming machines with defined odds, then the legalized robbery would be even worse.
The gig economy is like global casino filled with unregulated electronic games, where the Casino owners and their criminal friends can manipulate winning odds and arbitrarily change rules at will, while they launder huge loads of labor and money. They can kick you out any time they want, and they don’t have to let everyone in, anyway. It’s their virtual world, that you’re playing in!
Dire Predictions
If AI does end humanity as we know it, or in totality as many predict, then it's because we let it. We gave corporate AI the keys to our selves, and abandoned our autonomy by foolishly trusting regulators and politicians to protect us, and leaving corporate AI to clean up the mess with a brand new game, in a new world with malleable and deviously dynamic rules. Regulators and politicians are left limp and more useless than ever in protecting society and our most vulnerable people, as they neither understand, nor control a global corporate cabal with Machiavellian monopolization motives.
Using technology is something we all do, but the when, how, and why must all be human-centric. Otherwise, we are consciously choosing to both exploit humans and be exploited as a human, ad infinitum. Choices must be made consciously and quickly. Make them for yourself and your family while you consider if and how you’ll survive the corporate AI onslaught.
What Can Be Done? Primum Non Nocere
Should we start over and label “Artificial Intelligence” with an accurate name? I propose Intelligence Simulation (IS). Artificial Exploitation (AE) would also let humans know to beware of countless corporate-funded schemes they’re about to experience. AI is life-changing, humanity-shaking, singularity-stoking technology, but it’s not intelligence. AI may even feature deceptive or harmful outputs as we’ve discovered with DoorDash’s global gig economy scheme, or via biased AI systems giving and taking away human employment, which we could accurately describe as Artificial Insanity, thereby conveniently retaining the AI acronym!
AI is not a multi-trillion dollar, "big brass ring" to grab, any more than thermonuclear weapons are, "kick-ass fireworks.”
We must, “First, do no harm,” or in Classical Latin, “Primum non nocere.” I submit we should immediately guide AI development as with medicine, through a revised Hippocratic Oath. Without such a foundational ethic in AI system creation and deployment, society and individuals are trapped in a singularity, unable to trust the technical functions of a world run by, for, and at the mercy of corporate machines. Machines endorsed by oligarchs and governments as new opportunity for labor. Of course, there’s nothing new about the wealthy and powerful exploiting labor.
AI today is like early human behavioral experiments (later ones too), that could no longer be approved because they mentally and physically do harm to the experimental subjects, like The Stanford Prison Experiment, or The Milgram Shock Experiment. The gig economy, including DoorDash, is a hideous monster that escaped into our society and economy, before we knew what it was. That doesn't mean it should continue, or that it's even a legitimate business model. The gig economy was spawned by billions of investment dollars, to skim and launder billions more on the backs of exploited humans and rigged markets.
As a chapter-ending palate cleanser, please enjoy some satire at the expense of “guest shark,” Tony Xu.
The DoorDash Casino Opening with host, Tony Xu!
"The DoorDash Casino is open. I'm your host, Tony Xu; that's right consumers and appslaves, its ME! I'm one of the rich, powerful, clearly genius, and heartwarmingly benevolent "guest sharks," of ABCSharkTank that I know all Americans love and respect so much. Everyone, please… draw in closer, please. The hungry-looking Orlando will model my new t-shirt; and it really, REALLY delivers a pick-me-up when I see it. Right on schedule, too! I laugh every time... I really do! See, I'm laughing now.
Hey, Orlando, is that technical innovation in your pants, or are you just happy to seem me?! I'm joking, of course! I don't know Orlando; he's a contractor, but his pants look just fine. Just fine indeed! Remember that DoorDash brings the fun to you, so you don't have to get out of your chair to look for the fun. Have a great time everybody!" ~CEO, Tony Xu, The DoorDash Casino, Opening Night Keynote Address

"The Full Dashclosure Audiobook & Podcast" is a free companion audiobook, plus additional commentary and discussion on civil rights, economics, AI & “Full Dashclosure, Awakening from the human exploitation of DoorDash Singularity,” by Jeff Thomas Black.
Once again, Mr. Black, brings everything relating to this subject into clear focus. A highlight being the total baring of what the gig economy and its apps are at base. A con, a scam, and a ponzi scheme. And how, an apathetic, unengaged public, enabled by a complicit government, allows the last vestiges of humanity and fundamental decency to be stripped away. This is required reading.
